Hyundai-Alcazar-Ready-For-Its-Global-Debut-Image3
Hyundai Motor India has announced the culmination of durability tests being conducted on its upcoming 7 Seater Premium SUV – Hyundai Alcazar that has been covered in a unique castle-themed camouflage. The Alcazar will make its global debut on April 6th, 2021.

The Korean manufacturer has also showcased the camouflaged Hyundai Alcazar through a trailer video that presents first-hand glimpses of a bold and dynamic C-Pillar, LED Headlamps, and Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.
From the teaser video, we can see that the Alcazar SUV will share much of its styling upfront with the Creta. Barring the new grille, the Alcazar looks more or less like the Creta up until the C-pillar. However, it is the rear section that rear differentiates itself from the Creta.
The Alcazar gets an extended rear overhang and a much thicker C-pillar. It also gets a prominent waistline that runs all across its length with notable creases above the wheel arches. Additionally, the Alcazar will get a unique tailgate design with much wider wraparound tail-lamps, a slightly taller bumper with a prominent faux skid plate.
The Alcazar will be available with the same engine choices as the Hyundai Creta, most likely in the same state of tuning. The SUV would be available with two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 138 bhp and 242 Nm and comes standard with a seven-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 113 bhp and 144 Nm and is available with either a manual gearbox or an IVT automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre diesel engine gives 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a manual transmission and can also choose a six-speed automatic transmission too.
The Alcazar will essentially be Hyundai's first three-row SUV in a very long time. It will ensure Hyundai's entrance into the mid-size three-row SUV market, which has recently been increasingly exciting with models such as the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, XUV500, and VW Tiguan Allspace.
